getfflag(name: string): string | nilArguments
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
name | string | Exact fast flag name to read. |
Returns
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
flagValue | string | nil | String form of the flag value, or nil when the flag is missing or unsupported. |
Description
Reads a Roblox fast flag by exact name and returns its value as a string. Missing or unsupported flags return nil.
Call it with 1 parameter(s): name. The argument table explains which values are required and which ones only refine the behavior.
It returns flagValue (string | nil). Use the returns table to separate successful values from nil results and recoverable errors.
Example
Read a Roblox fast flag by exact name. Known bool and int flags are returned as strings.
local value = getfflag("SomeFFlagName")
if value ~= nil then
print(value)
end
